Pitchers of flowers - pick one

Which one do you like better? You can see that they are framed slightly differently. Can't you?

  1. I pick the top one. Yes, I see the differences, and I like that one better. But that's me. :)

I enjoy looking at the top photo. The photographer captured a great shot with the bottom/left side bleeding off the side. Great shot...great room for text! Make your self some postcards on flicker or snapfish.

  4. Just to be contrary, I prefer the second. I think the first too perfectly framed, each bunch wholly in the frame while the second shows three bunches with the third slightly out of sight. I always prefer off center.

  6. Thank you all for your comments. I'm so new at this photography thing that I don't trust my eye at all.

  8. I'm going against the crowd, but I like the second one. It's got more visual interest and depth, and it's not so "pretty" and symetrical. One visual thing that popped out at me about the top one is that the teeny bit of windowsill that is showing makes it look a little crooked.

(Love, love the colors in the pictures.)

im gonna have to be contrary and pick the bottom one too. maybe consider a crop that cuts out the bottom line of table so that the slant ends in the bottom left corner... if that made sense. :)

thanks for the comment on my site, it's always appreciated. :)

  10. I have to say I like the 2nd one better. I like the contrast of the table against the flowers.

  11. To all: see, this is why I need help. I like the second one better too. Because it shows more of the contrast between the pitty pitty flowers and the rough old bench.

  12. Hi Jane! It was awesome to meet you in person at Knitique! I prefer the first photo...seems the colors are more vibrant and like there's a bit more contrast. Gorgeous flowers! What are those?
